I was raised in Whatcom county, Bellingham. Teachers all through school, (elementary school, Jr. High School, High School, and Collage), recognized my artistic skills and imagination. And was encouraged to pursue the arts. I am thankful for their tutelage, inspiration, and encouragement. I have taken many different courses in most of the mediums over the years. I have done several mediums of the art spectrum. Painting, sculpturing, pottery, stained glass and now glass fusing. Approximately 17 years. Mostly self-taught. I do a lot of functional pieces for sale at art shows. And sculptural mixed mediums for commission work. I have my studio in the Pacific Northwest. Where I do a lot of my summer work. Also partnering and setting up a second studio in Southern California for the winter months. Nature is very inspirational in my work. Colors, shapes, spaces, textures, and movement.
