She learned to sew as a small child by watching her grandmother and mother make clothing for family and friends. She has been making costumes and wearable art for over 30 years. Through her Peacock Blue Design Studio business she creates ornamental accessories and outrageous attire for daring divas and fabulous fashionistas. Her unique multimedia pieces are intended for individuals who want to be noticed. All of her hats, fascinators, headpieces, braided hairpieces, and masks are unconventional yet elegant works of wearable art. Everything is exclusively designed and individually crafted by hand so that each piece is as unique as the person wearing it.
