Hi! My name is Ava Grambo, and I've loved drawing and painting since I was a little girl. Growing up, I attended a Waldorf school, where I was encouraged to explore my creativity and develop a lifelong love of art. I later studied Art, Psychology, and Religious Studies at The New School in New York City, including coursework at Parsons School of Design. Today, I'm happily settled in Blaine, where I continue to paint regularly. My work often explores themes of insects, nature, and the changing seasons. I'm currently creating a series inspired by the joy and wonder of parenting. When I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, playing with our cats, gardening—especially with native plants—or restoring and adding beauty to our historic home.
