I’m a retired corporate professional who recently made Blaine my home and am enjoying this chapter of life surrounded by the beauty, creativity, and community of Whatcom County. I’ve always had a deep love of art and am an artist myself, with a particular passion for painting and drawing. I’m especially drawn to Abstract Expressionism and the freedom it offers to explore emotions, movement, color and personal expression. My appreciation for art also extends to antiques, design and objects with history and craftsmanship; I collect cloisonné and enjoy discovering pieces with a story to tell. I’m inspired by nature, gardening and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, all of which find their way into my creative life. I’m excited to be part of the Blaine Art Council, to connect with other artists and art lovers, contribute to our local creative community and continue growing as an artist.
