     ​​​​​​​Hi! I’m Jeff Brand, I live in Northwest Washington state, and love the outdoors and nature. I am primarily a self-taught artist and love to paint and draw nature, old barns, people, and animals. Learning new things is so much fun, I love trying new techniques in my art, and dream of becoming a full time artist someday. My favorite mediums to work with are watercolors and pencil, though I do enjoy working with oil and acrylic paints as well. I am really drawn to the strong directional light here in the Pacific NW and have fun experimenting with the light\'s effects in my artwork.      Thank you for taking the time to look at my work and follow along as my technique and style develop and grow
