The 12th annual Recycled Art Resource Expo (RARE) will be held from April 5th – 27th, 2024. This First Friday, April 5th from 6-9pm, come by the Allied Arts Gallery in downtown Bellingham and visit the opening reception of the 2024 RARE Exhibition! Special musical performance on a Repurposed Percussion Set by Daelinar.
RARE celebrates the creative reuse and repurposing of materials for artistic expression – transforming the mundane into the magical, igniting inspiration within artists and those touched by that art, all while diverting waste from the waste stream. With the threat of climate catastrophe growing everyday – emphasizing sustainable practices through reducing consumption and reusing materials becomes imperative and integral, and one of the best ways to transform society’s actions is through inspiration.
